This hotel in a historical setting is a real gem. the location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the citadel and just off the main street of this charming little town. You'll find yourself within walking distance of the majority of attractions, giving you plenty of options for exploring. Secondly, the staff here are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Lastly, the rooms with an Estuary view on the lower level are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the water each morning was a true delight.
All aspects of our stay were exceptional, nothing to fault!

The location of the hotel was great with amazing views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed.
The breakfast selection was very poor compared to other hotels in the area. The outdated decor of the hotel and the unpleasant smell in the room were major disappointments.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, situated within a historic citadel and offering breathtaking views of the estuary. Being able to explore the fortress and the village right outside the hotel was a unique and memorable experience. the staff were mostly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met during our stay.
The rooms were a bit tired and could have benefitted from some updating. The lack of attention to detail, such as a dirty drinking glass and a broken bath drain, was also off-putting.
